Sophie had her first dance recital at the end of May. This was so fun. The stress was worth it. My dreams of having a sweet little girl in a cute pink tutu came true! Her costume was SUPER adorable. The make-up was kind of weird because no matter how red the lipstick was, it didn't look like she had any on, as she already has the reddest lips ever. She gets kids/adults asking her why/if she has lipstick on all the time. Anyway, here is a picture of her all ready for the recital.
I had to have Lindsay come with me to keep me sane (this is necessary sometimes) and help me with the dance mom routine. I took dance for nine years, but being on the other side of it is different. I can only imagine next year what the costume change will be like! Here is a picture of Lindsay and her "niece" at the recital and then a picture of Sophie and me.

Of course Zac,Oma, Mimi, Grandad and Beebob were also all there---I didn't happen to get any pictures of them afterwards. Daddy and Oma brought Sophie flowers which she LOVED!
We had to take out about 200 bobby pins when we got home and ohhhhhhh the amount of hair spray I used! Wow.. it was so fun though.
