We are still here...

I am turning out to be just as good at this blogging thing as I was with my old one---which is---not! It's just that life keeps getting in the way!

I will post pictures as soon as I get a new battery for the borrowed camera I have right now. I Luke threw one of the batteries in the toilet or something like that so its gonzo!

Right now we are in the middle of some issues with our sweet Luke. We finally took him to the neurologist about his sleep....errr LACK of sleep. The neurologist started talking seizures and scared the junk out of me. Luke had an EEG done and they stuck 24 electrodes to his head. I took a picture with my cell phone. It looks funny now, but it wasn't funny then. Seeing my child hooked up to all those wires after a neurologist strongly suggested that Luke was having seizures was not funny at all. We have Luke scheduled for a sleep study tomorrow night where they will put TONS of electrodes all over him so I will tell Zac to take pictures for me. That is right, I said ZAC. I am making him do the sleep study because I have had enough emotional trauma with the kids lately. Luke got strep throat right after our trip to the neurologist and Sophie followed suit.

Oh, and another thing about Luke---we are 95% sure he is going to have his tonsils removed very very soon. As you can imagine, a tonsillectomy in a 2 year old (almost 3) will be interesting. I will post more info when we get it and the results of the sleep study and all that good stuff later. Please pray for us---that this is something minor and very treatable.

Just so this post is not such a downer, we had a great Thanksgiving in Waco and then decorated for Christmas. I love this time of the year!
