Through the eyes of Sophie

This looks really disturbing, but if you know Sophie, its not. At least I think. Luke wasn't taking his oral meds last night and his fever got so high, we were forced to do those lovely Tylenol suppositories. A little while later, we looked up and saw this on Sophie's new dry erase board. I had to leave the room to laugh. When asked what this was, Sophie just replied, "It's Luke getting his bottom cream." I think we should send this in to one of those parent's magazines that has pictures of children's artwork. Sure would get some attention!
As for Luke, he has a low fever this morning, so we are keeping an eye on it. We made it through the night and are awake this morning thanks to 473 pots of coffee. If Luke's temp gets higher than about 102, I will be calling his pediatrician. Thanks for all the advice!!!

This reminds me so much of the days with Rachel. I would sleep on the floor by her bed. Whe would have high fever and go into convulsions and we would put her in cold water and ride out he night. It all goes with parenthood.

The art work of Sophie tells it all.
